Tommy Cook

Tommy Cook is the Founder and CEO of Calnex Solutions. He has almost 30 years' experience in the Telecoms Industry. His experience has been in telecoms test and measurement having been employed by Hewlett Packard, later Agilent Technologies, in their Telecom Test Instrumentation Divisions.

His career has seen him gain experience of every aspect of product development from hands-on design through to Programme Management of R&D Projects. He has held senior positions, leading Business Teams with P&L responsibility for the market segment Calnex is addressing.

Tommy has participated and is active in a number of Standards forums, such as the ITU-T and MEF standards groups.

Tommy holds a Master of Science degree in Digital Techniques from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Science degree with Honours in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Paisley University.
